Per Bloomberg, Sam Altman met with about 50 Samsung executives in South Korea to seek deeper memory-chip and data-center ties as shortages bite. Memory has become a binding constraint on AI buildouts, with shortages across many memory products pushing chip prices sharply higher. South Korea leads in advanced memory — Nvidia's Jensen Huang and AMD's Lisa Su have each visited twice since last year.
