Best Google TTS fooled listeners only 10% of the time; coder-only video claim stirs debate
VraserX · x · 2026-10-31
VoiceArena results show Google's TTS models are improving fast, but even the best one fooled human listeners only about 10% of the time — still far from human-level speech. Separately, VraserX claims a video was created entirely by 'GPT-6.2 Betelgeuse' writing code frame by frame, with no video generation model. The claim is unverified and the model name is dubious, but it sparked debate about the boundaries of AI-generated content.
