Subvocal glasses raise $1.3M from YC to turn silent mouthing into 200+ wpm text

Subvocal raised $1.3M from YC and Afore Capital to build glasses that decode silent mouthing into text at over 200 words per minute, using non-contact radar sensing of speech muscles. It only picks up deliberately mouthed words, so it's not always listening.
KOL LinusEkenstam amplified it: people don't hate dictating—they hate dictating around others. He's dictated for a year but reverts to typing on trains and cafés; subvocal speech is a "third way to talk to a computer." First batch ships Q1 2027.
