Dev builds Waifu Weather iOS app entirely with Claude Code, from Blender 3D modeling to music

A Reddit developer built Waifu Weather, an iOS app where an animated companion voices the forecast and helps plan outdoor activities, now in US TestFlight beta.
Workflow highlights:
- 3D character: Opus (xhigh effort) via Blender MCP designed the base model, hair, outfit, and accessories from concept art. Key tip: have Claude research techniques and write reusable reconstruction code first, making small edits easy between sessions.
- Coding: Sonnet handled most of the SwiftUI app and Python backend. The author planned architecture on a Trello board via the Trello connector, then opened a new session per milestone, simply telling Claude to "work on this card."
- Promo video: Opus produced the demo via Remotion, even synthesizing the music, with surprisingly decent results.
The author is recruiting beta testers and offering to answer questions about the workflow.
