Dev uses GitHub Copilot app to figure out a device's pin layout in minutes
DanWahlin · x · 2026-10-31
Developer Dan Wahlin shared a hands-on test: he had the GitHub Copilot app inspect a brand-new hardware device and automatically work out its pin layout for his Agent Buddy project.
According to him, this would have been challenging even a year ago, but now takes just a prompt and a few minutes of waiting — a vivid demonstration of how capable coding agents have become at hardware-adjacent tasks.
