Developer rsasaki0109 ships a new multi-session join feature for his open-source lidarslamros2: separate walks with no GPS and no initial guess can now be merged into a single map. The ROS 2 LiDAR SLAM project supports pointcloud map authoring, benchmarking, and Autoware-compatible map workflows, with modules for graph-based SLAM, loop closure, benchmark tools and a plugin system.
