Dev turns old MIDI controller into an AI-powered DJ rig
NERDDISCO · x · 2026-10-31
Developer NERDDISCO shows off an AI DJ web app that fulfills a long-held dream: it analyzes BPM and key, marks build/drop structure, and suggests transitions across a two-deck interface with sync, loops and FX.
The bonus trick: he connected his old Hercules DJControl Compact over USB-MIDI, letting a physical mini DJ controller drive the AI UI — a neat vintage-hardware-meets-AI setup.
