Anthropic bars third-party products from claude.ai login and rate limits

A question to opencode surfaced a key screenshot from Anthropic's docs: unless previously approved, Anthropic does not allow third-party developers to offer claude.ai login or rate limits for their products, including agents built on the Claude Agent SDK. Such products must use the API key authentication methods described in the Quickstart instead.
This is a clear warning to third-party clients and agent tools that piggyback on Claude subscription quotas — they risk being flagged.
