Intel's data center revenue jumps 78% YoY while PC revenue falls

Creative Strategies breaks down Intel's Q3 2026 earnings: data center revenue rose 78% year over year and 17% sequentially, with Q4 guided up mid-teens despite a fab outage in Israel. Client (PC) revenue fell 5%.
Intel expects PC revenue to drop more than 20% sequentially in Q4 as OEMs cut inventory aggressively, and now sees the PC market shrinking 10% in units in 2027 after 12% in 2026. Xeon supply, not a PC recovery, is the immediate growth lever.
