OpenAI to honor shared robots.txt signal for AI training opt-outs

OpenAI announced it will honor a shared robots.txt signal, letting website operators communicate their AI training preferences to participating AI providers through a single unified directive.
Instead of configuring separate opt-out rules for each AI company, publishers can now express their preferences once in robots.txt, lowering the barrier for content owners to manage how their data is used for model training.
