PropFirmMatch busted for cookie stuffing; commissions seized as prize pool
lililashka · x · 2026-10-31
Vest Exchange confirmed PropFirmMatch (PFM) engaged in cookie stuffing — planting referral cookies without users clicking, then collecting commissions on signups driven by others. PFM's code has been disabled; since the extent of harm to other affiliates can't be determined, PFM's commissions will be redistributed as an extra prize pool in Vest's November trading competition. The poster notes cookie stuffing has existed in affiliate marketing for decades.
