Cherimoya Binding Atlas BATv1: 46k-param genomic models for 3,429 TF binding experiments
jmschreiber91 · x · 2026-10-31
The team released Cherimoya Binding Atlas (BATv1), a collection of genomic sequence-to-function models covering 3,429 TF binding ChIP-seq experiments from ENCODE across 183 biosamples and 1,139 distinct targets. The models are tiny — only 46k parameters versus 614k for CATv1 accessibility models and 114k for BPNet — yet highly accurate. Scatter plots show BATv1 generally beating BPNet on test count and profile pearson correlations, with a modest but consistent improvement across peak counts; formal comparisons will follow in a preprint.
