Dev builds real 'sidequest' device that dances only to music it likes
wavefnx · x · 2026-10-31
Developer wavefnx shows off sidequest, a physical build distinct from the AI-generated fakes circulating in videos. He wrote his own vector rendering libs, encoders/decoders, native AI integrations, net primitives, security and graphics code. Current firmware uses a simple FFT fingerprint so the device only shows hearts and dances when it 'likes' the music — a minimal test. Firmware and CAD files to be shared as the project progresses.
