Larry Page Once Said He'd Leave His Entire Fortune to Elon Musk If He Died

Elon Musk confirmed a story from investor Steve Jurvetson: at a Google event, Larry Page mused about his net worth and said that if he were hit by a bus that day, he would want to leave all of it to Musk.
Musk said he loved the anecdote and called Page a good friend, noting they've known each other since around 1997, before Page raised venture funding. Jurvetson added that Page believed in backing corporations whose goals aligned with his own interests, such as moving away from oil and space colonization.
