ComfyUI revealed that Higgsfield sent a cease and desist letter asking it to shut down the Open Source challenge. ComfyUI's read: when apps people pay for can be rebuilt in the open in two weeks, that's uncomfortable for a closed platform.
ComfyUI reiterated its promises: the challenge stays open, final submissions close Oct 30, and winners are announced Nov 6 with prizes paid as promised. "If we win, we all win."
