Udgam Labs built Lekhani, a Hindi transliteration typing model that is just 0.87 MB total and runs entirely in the browser with no data leaving the device. On a standard Hindi benchmark it scores 65.9% exact word accuracy — 7 points above the IndicXlit model, which is 14x larger — though IndicXlit's full package still leads at 68.7% using a word list roughly 400x the size of all of Lekhani.
