Developer dfinke points out that $100 today buys roughly 6 million AI tokens, and if token costs drop 1,000x—something he thinks could happen by 2027—the same $100 would buy 6 billion.
The observation sets up his follow-up argument that collapsing token costs will enable fleets of autonomous agents doing real work end to end.
