ZDNET adds detail on Bank of America's warning: an email titled "Protecting your finances in the AI world" cautions that sharing banking login credentials with AI agents is risky, could pose a privacy nightmare, and leaves customers responsible for the agents' actions. Citi, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo are among major banks restricting third-party agent access (agents like Meta's Muse, Anthropic's Claude, and OpenAI's Dots). Same event as the earlier post, with additional institutions and agent products named.
