WebAnything Auto-Rebuilds Real Websites into Scalable Web Agent Environments
Tianci Xie · hf · 2026-10-30
Researchers from Zhejiang University, NTU, and Shanghai Qi Zhi Zhi Feng propose WebAnything, a fully automated framework that turns real websites into source-grounded, executable, and reusable environments for Web Agent training and evaluation.
- Motivation: agents need diverse, resettable website environments; manual mirroring needs per-site engineering, generative construction diverges from real sites, and capture-and-replay limits interaction coverage
- Approach: automatically reconstruct real URLs into verifiable-fidelity environments at scale, without per-site manual work
