Claude API docs reveal beta Agents, Sessions and Environments APIs with managed sandboxes
aigclink · x · 2026-10-30
Claude Platform docs show an expanded API family: production endpoints for Messages, Message Batches (50% cost cut), Token Counting, Models, Files and Skills, plus three beta APIs — Agents (versioned, reusable agent configs for Claude Managed Agents), Sessions (stateful agent runs in managed cloud sandboxes) and Environments (sandbox templates). Anthropic is turning managed agent runtime — sandboxing, session state, environment templates — into first-class API products beyond plain model calls.
