Qwen 3.8 Flash Next one-shots a living 3D island village in three.js at 60fps
jesdga95 · reddit · 2026-10-30
A Redditor reproduced the Tiny Harbor benchmark from r/DeepSeek using a local Qwen 3.8 Flash Next (NVFP4) build. One shot produced a living three.js island village: cliffs, beach, pier, breakwater, 12 houses, lighthouse and windmill from a single analytic height function, plus a 60-second day cycle, clear/rain/snow weather, tilt-shift post-processing and click-to-fly camera. No models, no textures, no build step — 15 source files, only dependency is three.js from a CDN, 44k triangles in 249–273 draw calls, 60fps desktop / 58fps at phone size, zero console errors. First pass trails the DeepSeek version; known issues include a misplaced lighthouse and boats clipping through the bridge.
