OpenAI matches Anthropic: $100-$500 ChatGPT plans now include matching monthly API credits

OpenAI has launched a benefit mirroring Anthropic's: subscribers on $100, $200, or $500 monthly plans now receive the same amount in API credits (expiring monthly) applicable to one of their API organizations.
Anthropic rolled out the same deal for its Max and Team tiers earlier this month. Simon Willison, who maintains subscriptions with both companies, calls it great news for heavy users and says he may ship public-facing demos now that the credits are covered.
