X quietly adds ?a= share-tracking tag to copied post links

X has started appending a new ?a= parameter to post links when you copy them while logged in. The old s= parameter only indicates the share method; the new a= is a share tag generated at the moment you tap Share. It likely lets X track who shared a post and how far it spread — X hasn't officially confirmed.
