16GB GPU bandwidth-per-dollar tier list puts RX 6800 on top
HankYeomans · x · 2026-10-30
A bandwidth-per-dollar tier list for 16GB cards using eBay median prices (Oct 29, 2026): the RX 6800 tops S-tier at 1,228 GB/s per $1k, followed by the RX 6800 XT and RX 7800 XT, while the RTX 5080 sinks to C-tier at 464. Pre-Ampere cards like the Tesla P100 and Radeon VII offer stellar raw bandwidth per dollar but sit below the bar due to lacking modern kernel support.
