Free scanner checks if AI agents can discover your MCP server — Stripe and GitLab score 68
ElderElCapitan · reddit · 2026-10-30
Pryno released a free checker that scans a domain for 7 public signals of MCP server discoverability: llms.txt, llms-full.txt, robots.txt AI-agent permissions, OpenAPI spec, public API docs, MCP discovery endpoints, and schema.org markup. Notable finding: Stripe and GitLab both have real public MCP servers but scored 68 because neither exposes them at standard paths on their main domains — building the server and making it discoverable are two different jobs. The author is soliciting feedback on other discovery mechanisms to add.
