Qwen Code PR reuses verified native audio prebuilds to cut release times
yiliang114 · ghdev · 2026-10-29
PR #15854 on QwenLM/qwen-code lets releases reuse validated native audio prebuilds when build inputs (package contents, dependency lock, package-manager pin, producing workflow) fingerprint-match a successful official main release, skipping the native build matrix; lookup, download, or payload validation failures fall back to rebuilding all five targets.
Motivation: the v0.26.3 Linux x64 prebuild waited 74 minutes in the release critical path for 50 seconds of work. Version numbers are excluded from the fingerprint; both the ECS builder and hosted npm publisher independently recheck provenance and payloads.
