exe.dev launches durable dev sandboxes with SSH root access and built-in coding agent Shelley
davidcrawshaw · x · 2026-10-30
exe.dev introduced execonnect and its developer-compute platform: durable, shareable sandboxes built for developers and agents. You reserve a pool of vCPUs/memory shared by your VMs, SSH in as root with apt and systemd, keep services private by default with IAM sharing, and reach private services without exposing them publicly. A built-in web agent, Shelley, handles coding and can act on your Google Calendar/Gmail via short-lived tokens with minimal permissions. Early users report vibecoding complete backoffice apps with Opus 4.5 without ever reading the code.
