Replit can now run any GitHub repo from a link and auto-open PRs
amasad · x · 2026-10-30
Replit CEO amasad showed that pasting any GitHub repo link into Replit lets its Cloud Agent set the project up automatically.
User sarahli demoed the full loop on Excalidraw: had the agent get the app running, described new features (draw fish that swim, draw a course and drop a ball through it) and iterated via preview, forked the repo and granted the Replit GitHub App access, then asked the agent to run checks and open a PR against her fork — which it did.
