Rogers Expands Starlink Satellite Roaming to Japan, Australia and New Zealand

Rogers has expanded its Starlink-powered satellite-to-mobile roaming beyond the U.S. to Japan, Australia and New Zealand, letting Canadian phones stay connected where cell towers don't reach in four countries.
Features include texting from remote trails, X/WhatsApp/Messenger over satellite, Google Maps and AllTrails navigation with zero bars, real-time AccuWeather updates, all included at no extra cost on eligible plans and Travel Passes.
Partner carriers — Docomo, KDDI and SoftBank in Japan, Telstra in Australia, One NZ in New Zealand, T-Mobile in the U.S. — all connect to the same Starlink Direct to Cell layer, moving toward one global network where your phone just works across borders.
