Tahoe AI's Tara plug-in brings 100M-cell drug datasets to Claude Code, Codex and Cursor
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-10-30
Tahoe AI launched Tara, a plug-in connecting AI agents to its frontier-scale biology datasets. Newly available: Emerald Bay, measuring how cancer models respond to drug combinations over a 5-day time course (vs 1 day in Tahoe-100M) to capture cell death, previously open-sourced with the Rhaister release. Tara exposes Tahoe-100M (100M-cell perturbation atlas) via 15 tools with plain-language queries. Demos include Codex comparing adagrasib vs RMC-6236 across six KRAS-G12C models into an interactive dashboard, Claude Code finding compounds with pathway responses resembling saquinavir, and Cursor checking whether binimetinib down-regulates KRAS signaling.
