LangChain ships managed-deep-agents 0.10 with async subagents and browser use
hwchase17 · x · 2026-10-30
LangChain released managed-deep-agents 0.10, adding two headline capabilities:
- Async subagents: the agent hands long-running work to subagents and keeps talking to the user while they run
- Browser use: the agent can navigate and operate any website, handing control back to the user for logins, and can record the browser as video (e.g. to show a UI change it made)
Also in this release: a native Stop button on Slack threads and a new reply mode where the agent "follows" a thread without an explicit @.
Managed Deep Agents lets developers define an agent as a directory of instructions, skills, tools and middleware, while LangSmith Agent Server runs the harness, threads, streaming and MCP endpoint—no servers to operate.
