CapCut ships ChatGPT plugin for agentic video editing, from prompt to editable timeline

At CapCut World in LA, CapCut showed off its Agentic Editing direction with an early-access plugin for ChatGPT desktop.
- Workflow: describe an idea in natural language to generate images, video material and an editable draft, or upload existing media; then refine scenes, tracks, captions, effects and timing in chat, or open the CapCut editor
- Keeps creative decisions reviewable — the plugin builds the starting structure without making every call
- Official SKILL.md guide handles install and authorization via ChatGPT's skill mechanism; work continues in CapCut Web
