Codex as commander: orchestrating local and remote AI agents across machines
huangyun_122 · x · 2026-10-30
A developer shows how to use Codex as a "commander" orchestrating multiple AI agents across machines: it SSHes into a remote RunPod box running Qwen3.8, and spawns local Claude Code, OpenCode (backed by DeepSeek V4 Pro max), Antigravity (Gemini 4 Argon) and Grok CLI in parallel.
In the demo, the four CLIs independently researched how Opus 5.5-generated videos performed on Douyin/Bilibili, then Codex cross-checked, deduped and labeled each data point with its agent source and evidence type (e.g. "108M views in under 2 days, +462 followers", flagged as author self-reported rather than platform-verified).
Takeaway: Codex can unify every CLI agent on a machine into one orchestrated workflow, and multi-agent cross-checking surfaces duplicates and unverified claims.
