Google officially rolls out in-chat document editing for Gemini
GeminiApp · x · 2026-10-30
Google (via NewsFromGoogle) amplified the Gemini app update: users can now generate, preview, and edit documents, presentations, spreadsheets, code, and more directly in the Gemini chat without leaving the conversation.
For finer control, users can expand to a full-screen view to type manual edits, highlight specific sections, or ask Gemini for targeted changes. Same event as the original GeminiApp post.
