On-device education prototype built on Liquid AI's LFM3-Omni-2B omni model
pandeyparul · x · 2026-10-29
A developer demoed an education prototype built on Liquid AI's new LFM3-Omni-2B: kids can pause educational videos and ask questions by text or voice, or highlight a video segment for explanation—running entirely on-device with no cloud dependency. LFM3-Omni-2B is Liquid AI's first omni model, jointly processing vision and audio in one model, outputting text, speech, or both, and generating structured tool calls from visual context. It scores 70.1 on Daily-Omni video+audio understanding vs 61.3 for Qwen.
