Mistral released open weights for its flagship Mistral Large 4 — 1.05T total / 52B active parameters — scoring 26 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5 (up 1 from Preview), narrowly the #1 open-weights model developed outside China. It scores 51 on the Cyber Index, third among open-weights models behind DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 (57) and MiMo-V2.6-Pro (56): it matches or beats both on CyberGym-E2E-AA (79%) but trails on DeepsecBench-AA (15% vs. 25%/26%) and CWE-Bench-AA (58% vs. 69%/63%).
