Frontier LLMs cross the chasm on inverse graphics: 400 photos become an editable Blender scene
bilawalsidhu · x · 2026-10-29
Bilawal Sidhu demonstrates that frontier LLMs have crossed the chasm on inverse graphics: 400 photos of his parents' old house went through RealityScan to create a photogrammetry mesh, then GPT-6 Astra rebuilt it as a clean, editable Blender scene. Scan textures became procedural materials, every object is isolated and editable, and physics just works—he even turned off gravity. What used to take days of skilled artist work now takes minutes, with big implications for VFX, AR/VR and robotics.
