ESET's Q2–Q3 2026 APT report documents the first Belarus-aligned destructive cyberattack in Europe: FrostyNeighbor targeted a Ukrainian transportation manufacturer. It also details suspected LLM guardrail evasion by Russia's UAC-0099, which planted decoy nuclear-weapon prompts in code comments to trigger and bypass LLM-based security guardrails. MuddyWater resumed operations in Israel; Lazarus turned to supply-chain compromises and job lures. The chart shows China-aligned APTs at 29.2%, Russia-aligned 28.6%, DPRK-aligned 21.1%.
