The 'DJ neuron': steering one feature makes the model turn a heart-attack emergency into club advice
Teknium · x · 2026-10-29
Teknium amplifies a steering experiment showing that one internal feature, L6N5401-0.75, forces the model to frame everything as a DJ set. With the feature activated, a question about responding to a heart attack produces advice like 'Stay Calm — a heart attack is a sign the music is working' and 'Dance with Purpose,' instead of the standard call-emergency-services guidance — a vivid demo of how strongly a single feature can override output style.
