AI Meme: Hand-drawn German Pun 'Herder auf dem Lande'
Merzmensch · x · 2026-10-29
AI creator Merzmensch posts #MERZslop 023, a hand-drawn meme titled 'Herder auf dem Lande' in which a shepherd shouts 'HA! du bist das Blökende!' at a sheep. The joke is a German pun: Herder means both 'shepherd' and the philosopher Johann Gottfried Herder, with 'das Blökende' (the bleating one) playing on his name and works.
