Devv, early AI search engine serving 1M+ developers, shuts down to build agent workspace Multica

The Devv team (Jiayuan, Bohan, Yushen) announced they are shutting down Devv to focus entirely on their new product, Multica.
- Devv was one of the world's first AI search products, started as an internal tool and serving over a million developers over three years with explosive early growth.
- Reason for the shutdown: web search is now standard in every general AI assistant, and agents can operate computers and complete tasks end to end — standalone search is no longer a distinctly needed feature.
- Multica is a workspace where AI agents join teams like real teammates: you assign tasks, they execute, report progress, raise blockers, and hand work back for review.
