NY bans minors from AI chatbots — skeptics say the law is doomed to fail

New York now prohibits minors from using AI chatbots. Quoting ShawnDevDedalus, RachelVT42 doubts it will work: like kids getting Playboy magazines in the 70s and 80s, children don't even need to log in to use chatbots, and parents — not laws — should be doing the parenting.
