Rian Johnson launches Chromagraph, an iPhone camera app that bypasses Apple's processing

Filmmaker Rian Johnson revealed on X that he persuaded his cinematographer Steve Yedlin and color-science coder Eric Cameron to build Chromagraph, an iPhone still-camera app now on the App Store. It shoots RAW and bypasses Apple's default look processing, instead applying the same image pipeline used on the Knives Out films. Users can fine-tune color, exposure, grain and halation in-app and export to the camera roll; the listing stresses it is not a filter but a from-scratch rendering process.
