Krishnan et al. published "GroundControl: Satellite-Conditioned Multi-View Diffusion for Reconstruction-Free Novel View Synthesis." The method uses satellite images as conditioning signals, injected in a geometry-driven way via attention, to guide multi-view image generation — enabling novel view synthesis without explicit 3D reconstruction.
