shadcn echoed Mitchell Hashimoto's criticism of the new Siri. Hashimoto tested asking Siri about his on-screen Uber Eats order; it thought for two minutes and then said it doesn't know. The macOS Siri app was slammed as embarrassingly amateurish.
shadcn added that when demoing HomeView to friends and family, everyone asked "does Siri work now?" — with one 6-year-old calling it stupid. He cites claims that Apple's hardware was ready a year ago while waiting on Siri to catch up, but the New New New Siri still doesn't work.
