TF motif database adds multi-dimensional filters: in vivo only, trust scores, curated databases
jmschreiber91 · x · 2026-10-29
jmschreiber91 shipped a filters feature for their transcription factor (TF) binding interaction database, letting users focus on interactions they care about: in vivo only, specific TF families, specific source databases, and confidence levels.
The screenshot shows filter dimensions including motif trust (0–5, based on benchmark AUC ≥0.80 agreement), edge trust, HOCOMOCO quality grades (A–D), evidence type (in vitro/in vivo/compiled), motif databases (JASPAR 2026 CORE, HOCOMOCO v14, CIS-BP 3.10), and cluster expansion of similar motifs via Tomtom p ≤ 1e-7 — a practical retrieval upgrade for gene regulation analysis.
