Microsoft is discontinuing Copilot on all smart TVs, per a Windows Central report. The news surfaced via an on-screen notification on an LG webOS TV rather than any official announcement, saying the feature is "scheduled for discontinuation during 2026." LG and Samsung announced Copilot integration at CES 2025; LG previously faced backlash last December for adding an unremovable Copilot shortcut and later allowed users to delete it.
