Anima Ref Adapter tested: one character sheet generates consistent multi-pose art

ElectronGirl released Anima Ref Adapter, the first anime character reference adapter (a ComfyUI plugin) — no need to train a character-specific LoRA or style model.
The author tested it with a LOTR cartoon reference sheet: upscaled, cropped the characters, loaded Anima Turbo with the new adapter, and generated multiple shots of the same character across different poses and environments with consistent clothing. It even recognizes Gollum without prompting the name.
Verdict: not perfect but extremely useful — e.g. batch-producing consistent multi-scene illustrations for a children's book. Multi-character generation is on the roadmap.
