Gemini 4 Carbon beats Opus 5.5 on smarts and cost — but benchmarked via Antigravity CLI
Yuchenj_UW · x · 2026-10-29
Per Artificial Analysis, Gemini 4 Carbon is both smarter and cheaper than Claude Opus 5.5 per agentic task: 59.4 vs 58.4 on the AA Intelligence Index at roughly $7.6 vs $10 per task (high mode).
Yuchen Jin's one caveat: the benchmark ran Gemini 4 Carbon through Google's Antigravity CLI, which he hasn't touched in months and isn't eager to reinstall. He plans to re-test it in Codex and Omnigent to see how good it really is.
