Gemini 4 Carbon tops AA Index at 59, but loses FrontierSWE to GPT-6 Astra

Google's Gemini 4 Carbon tops the Artificial Analysis Index v5.0 at 59, just one point above Claude Opus 5.5 (58) and well above predecessor Argon (50). It leads on GraphWalks (96.2%), SEC-bench Pro (88.2%), cybersecurity benchmarks, and Vending-Bench 2 ($16,484), but loses FrontierSWE 2 to GPT-6 Astra (61.2% vs 65.5%) and OSWorld-2.1 to Opus 5.5 (81.5% vs 87.2%). Not publicly available yet — rolling out to cyber defenders first.
